In the contemporary world a clear divide separates what is conceived as culture, where the conceptions of “highbrow” and “lowbrow” constantly feed off each other. These definitions of culture are associated with manifestations, styles, representations, languages and even specific materials. In accordance, this scenario uses elements associated with the traditional “highbrow”  such as ornaments and embroidery and mixing them with representations and symbols of the ordinary, understood as what is common and graceless,or even what is rude and grotesque.
